I desperately want something red velvet in my closet for the holiday season. There’s something about velvet that feels so festive, yet not over the top like sequins or sparkles.
We have a lovely cotton velveteen in the shop, in a gorgeous deep red and also in a navy blue. I’m tempted to order in the green, as well…
In my imagination, my velvet dress looks something like this:
In reality, I’m leaning towards a pencil skirt (the Alberta Street, of course!) or a sheath dress (the Phoebe Dress). I have created a Pinterest board with some styling inspiration, and to hopefully help me decide which to make.
If I can’t make a decision soon, I guess I’ll just have to make both!
