- Printing is $5.50 for up to two pages*, $2.75 each additional page, per pattern.
- Patterns may be picked up at Stitch Sew Shop, or shipped.
- Shipped patterns will be folded.

Printing FAQ
What types of files do you print?
We can print PDF files that are either A0 or Copy Shop format. If you send us both versions, we will choose one version to print.
We do not print tiled pattern files (usually labeled “print at home”).
How large is a page?
A single page is 36” wide and 48” long. If your pattern is longer than 48”, it will print continuously, but we will use increments of 48” to determine pricing. For example, a pattern that is 36” x 120” will be charged as 3 pages.
The paper we print on is 36” wide, so one of the dimensions of your pattern (either length or width) must be 36” or less. We always check the dimensions when we receive your files and will tell you if there is an issue.
What kind of paper do you print on?
We print on HP Universal Bond Paper. It is similar in weight to regular copy paper (about 80 gsm).
Can you print in color?
Yes, you can request that your pattern be printed in color. Please specify this in your form. There is a $1.00 charge, per page, for color printing.
I only want a few layers or sizes printed, can you do that?
Yes, we can print only the layers/sizes you need. Please specify the layers you want for each pattern in your form.
Can you print my instructions?
We do not print pattern instructions. Those files are formatted for at-home printing.
How long will it take to get my order?
Our process is not automated, and there is a real person (sometimes a few of us) processing your order!
After you submit our PDF Printing Request Form and send us your files, we will send you an email invoice for the cost of the printing and shipping (if applicable). Your pattern is printed after the invoice is paid, usually within 24 hours.
If you are picking up your order at the shop, you will receive an email from us letting you know that your order is ready.
If you are having your pattern mailed to you, you will get an email with tracking information when your package is ready to ship. After that, your package is waiting to be picked up by our mail carrier. We typically have pick-ups Monday-Thursday.
How do I pay my invoice?
The invoice will be sent to the email we have on file for you, or the email you included in the Request Form.
Our invoices are sometimes sent to customers’ spam mail folders, so it is a good idea to check there if you haven’t received it in your regular inbox.
The email invoice has a link that will take you to a secure checkout page, where you can enter your credit card details and submit your payment.
Is there any other way to pay?
Yes, you can call us at 571.777.8783 to pay over the phone.
You can also stop by the shop in person if you are local, but please note that we will not print your order until after payment is received. If you pay in person, you may have to come back at a later time to pick up your pattern order.
