I desperately want something red velvet in my closet for the holiday season. There’s something about velvet that feels so festive, yet not over the top like sequins or sparkles.<\/p>\n

We have a lovely cotton velveteen in the shop, in a gorgeous deep red and also in a navy blue. I’m tempted to order in the green, as well…<\/p>\n

In my imagination, my velvet dress looks something like this:<\/p>\n\"red-velvet-party-dress\"\n

In reality, I’m leaning towards a pencil skirt (the Alberta Street<\/a>, of course!) or a sheath dress (the Phoebe Dress<\/a>).\u00a0I have created a Pinterest board<\/a> with some styling inspiration, and to hopefully help me decide which to make.<\/p>\n\"screen-shot-2016-11-18-at-9-40-28-am\"<\/a>\n

If I can’t make a decision soon, I guess I’ll just have to make both!<\/p>\n
