It&#8217;s an updated and more grown up version of the romper, and we&#8217;re looking forward to making our own versions of this trend.<\/p>\n<p>I actually stumbled accidentally into this trend when my Tilly and the Buttons Bettine\/Marigold mashup took a wrong turn because I forgot to leave a back opening so that I could get into it. Whoops. I decided instead to make my top and bottom into matching separates. Now, not only do I get to wear them together, I can also mix and match them with other items in my wardrobe.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3029\" src=\"http:\/\/stitchsewshop.com\/development\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/05\/csshortsset.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/>\n<p>Another great thing about this trend is that it is really easy to reproduce it on your own. Step one, find some cool fabric\u00a0&#8211; we suggest something light and drapey.\u00a0Here are four ideas to get you started:<\/p>\n<p>My version was in a Cotton + Steel silky smooth rayon print. There are several options for patterns you could use to get this look.
