Since this pattern was named after Kalle, this pattern is extra special to us here at Stitch.\u00a0And between all the shop girls we&#8217;ve made quite a few different versions. Here are some of our favorites:<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2916\" src=\"http:\/\/stitchsewshop.com\/development\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/kalle_tencel.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/>\n<p>This Kalle dress was made in a navy tencel twill, which is one of our favorite fabrics for this pattern. Lots of drape with enough body to feel substantial.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2917\" src=\"http:\/\/stitchsewshop.com\/development\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/kall_silk.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/>\n<p>And of course, you can&#8217;t go wrong with silk. This version is made with a printed silk twill. A little harder to work with, but oh so worth the effort.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2918\" src=\"http:\/\/stitchsewshop.com\/development\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/kalle_cotton.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/>\n<p>This was the first version I personally made. It is made up in an Italian cotton 2&#215;2, which has a sort of soft lightweight twill weave.\u00a0We apparently have an obsession with blue Kalle dresses.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2919\" src=\"http:\/\/stitchsewshop.com\/development\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/kalle_linen.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/>\n<p>And for a completely different look, here is the crop version made up in a beautiful linen.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2920\" src=\"http:\/\/stitchsewshop.com\/development\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/kalle_print.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/>\n<p>Lately we&#8217;ve been more into doing the tunic length. Here&#8217;s mine in a print cotton from Art Gallery Fabrics.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2921\" src=\"http:\/\/stitchsewshop.com\/development\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/03\/kalle_oxford.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" \/>\n<p>And here&#8217;s Kalle&#8217;s latest in an oxford cotton with some very fun gingham accents repurposed from one of her husband&#8217;s old shirts.
