is 36&#8243; wide x up to 48&#8243; long<\/i><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Printing FAQ<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>What types of files do you print?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">We can print PDF files that are either A0 or Copy Shop format.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>If you send us both versions, we will choose one version to print.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">We do not print tiled pattern files (usually labeled \u201cprint at home\u201d).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>How large is a page?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">A single page is 36\u201d wide and 48\u201d long.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>If your pattern is longer than 48\u201d, it will print continuously, but we will use increments of 48\u201d to determine pricing.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>For example, a pattern that is 36\u201d x 120\u201d will be charged as 3 pages.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The paper we print on is 36\u201d wide, so one of the dimensions of your pattern (either length or width) must be 36\u201d or less.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We always check the dimensions when we receive your files and will tell you if there is an issue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>What kind of paper do you print on?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">We print on HP Universal Bond Paper.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>It is similar in weight to regular copy paper (about 80 gsm).<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Can you print in color?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Yes, you can request that your pattern be printed in color.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Please specify this in your form.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>There is a $1.00 charge, per page, for color printing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>I only want a few layers or sizes printed, can you do that?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Yes, we can print only the layers\/sizes you need.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Please specify the layers you want for each pattern in your form.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Can you print my instructions?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">We do not print pattern instructions.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Those files are formatted for at-home printing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>How long will it take to get my order?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Our process is not automated, and there is a real person (sometimes a few of us) processing your order!<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">After you submit our PDF Printing Request Form and send us your files, we will send you an email invoice for the cost of the printing and shipping (if applicable).<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>Your pattern is printed after the invoice is paid, usually within 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">If you are picking up your order at the shop, you will receive an email from us letting you know that your order is ready.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">If you are having your pattern mailed to you, you will get an email with tracking information when your package is ready to ship.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>After that, your package is waiting to be picked up by our mail carrier.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>We typically have pick-ups Monday-Thursday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>How do I pay my invoice?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The invoice will be sent to the email we have on file for you, or the email you included in the Request Form.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Our invoices are sometimes sent to customers\u2019 spam mail folders, so it is a good idea to check there if you haven\u2019t received it in your regular inbox.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The email invoice has a link that will take you to a secure checkout page, where you can enter your credit card details and submit your payment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><strong>Is there any other way to pay?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Yes, you can call us at 571.777.8783 to pay over the phone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">You can also stop by the shop in person if you are local, but please note that we will not print your order until after payment is received.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>If you pay in person, you may have to come back at a later time to pick up your pattern order.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Send us\u00a0your PDF patterns for printing!
