Are you ready to make the leap into making your own jeans, but are a little overwhelmed with the details? If so, this class is for you. In this 5 part class we’ll be focusing on the tricky details involved in making jeans, including zipper fly fronts, pockets, and topstitching.

You can choose from three patterns for stretch jeans: Ginger Jeans from Closet Core Patterns, Ames Jeans from Cashmerette, or Ash Jeans from Megan Nielsen**.  The pattern is included with the class.

We’ll cover the tricky parts of construction during class, but some time outside of class may be required to finish your pair of jeans. Please note that you will need to have your pattern traced and your denim cut before the first class, so it is important to be sure you have enough time in your schedule to allow for this prep-work.

The focus of the class is construction, not fitting, but we will do our best to help you with basic fitting adjustments as needed.  If you are unsure of your sizing, you may want to treat the first pair of jeans you make like a muslin.

All participants will be required to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to take this class.  Anyone who does not comply with this rule may be removed from the class without a refund.

Cancellation Policy : Any cancellations or changes to your registration must be done at least 72 hours prior to the date of the first session in order to be issued a class credit. Cancellations that are made less than 72 hours before the class start date and students who do not show up to class will forfeit their registration payment. By continuing with class registration, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.
